I am looking at a 16' Lund SSV with a 30hp 4 stroke Merc. Boat and motor are from '02 motor has about 30 hrs on it...some fresh water use some salt. I fish mostly rivers in northern Mass/ southern NH some small lakes and some brackish water. Does anyone have any experience/opinions on this boat in these types of waters? Thank you

I was wondering ... what comparison can be made bewteen an electric motor at 74 lb thrust and a gas motor? What would be an equivalent hp to match a 74 lb thrust? Thank you
