    I use medium power for pretty much anything top water that has treble hooks. I also use a 6:4.1 ratio reel to purposefully not reel them in fast so I don’t rip the trebles out. I just want to know what people think about that rod power and action because most people use medium power and medium action and I accidentally got a medium power and fast action

    Hey guys so I got a question. I have a new top water rod and reel combo and I want to know what you guys think. I got power and action confused apparently. I got a 7ft Fenwick medium POWER, fast ACTION rod with a lews 6:4.1 gear ratio for popper, jitterbugs, whopper plopper, etc...no frogs. Do you think this is a good choice? I ment to get a medium POWER with a medium ACTION. thanks and tight lines!!!
