  1. I adjusted it but it didn't seem to help
  2. I recently purchased a Garmin Echomap Plus 44cv for my boat. This is my first fish finder. I've used it on a few different lakes and on the river and I keep having the same problem. When I use the traditional mode, I see a line showing on the screen at the 5 foot mark. When I switch to the ClearVu mode there are several lines on the screen. The lines only show up when I am sitting still. If the boat is moving with the trolling motor, the lines disappear and the screen is clear. At first I thought it might have been a layer of sediment or something in the water at that level but not with it showing on different lakes. I was able to take some pictures when I was out the other day. Sorry they are not the greatest but they show the problem that I am having. The transducer is mounted on the transom. Is there a setting that is wrong or is some type of interference causing the lines? Thanks in advance.
