  2. I picked up a Quantum 7' KVD Medium heavy crankbait rod for around $80 on a good sale from Tackle Warehouse around the holidays. I have used it a couple of times and like the rod so far. However, I did notice that the epoxy around most of the guides seems to have air under it, and while fishing in light rain the other day I noticed that water will get underneath the epoxy and touch the thread wraps in some of these spots. I am on the fence on whether or not I should send this back as a warranty claim and try my luck with a new one. May not be a big deal but the water getting in seems concerning. Looking for some thoughts on how much of a problem this really is to the rod's longevity, performance, etc, and if it would be worth the $20 or so in freight to send it back. Photos of a few of the guides are attached. Thank you in advance for helping ease my mind. Jake
