Thanks everyone for your comments that helps my decision !! I will take all of your advice and forget about June and Sept and come next Feb. The places I was going to try were: Turkey Lake, Lake Underhill, Lake Ivanhoe, Clear Lake, Barnett Park and Teneroc. OF course I got these places from researching on the web. I'm sure there are some honey holes out there that the locals know about. If anyone is willing to share them it would be VERY much appreciated. I don't expect you to post globally but I could message you privately ? I plan on spending time around Orlando, maybe Ocala NF and Fort Myers. I just picked Orlando because it seemed to be the best fishing. Also read Deltona could be good as well.

Need some help here. My trip from Canada to ocala and orlando of course has been cancelled. Is it worth me coming early June to pond and bank fish the orlando spots , little lakes and ponds. Fishing from the bank. Flight, car rental, accomodations$. Canadian dollar is very low as well. I want to make this worth it. Should i wait until sept or try next feb?? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the information Mike. You have me concerned about possible crime out there. I am coming from Canada therefore carrying is not an option. Different rules / laws up here in the North. I will stop at the visitor center as you mentioned. Best I stay around the populated areas and not get too far off the beaten path. Appreciate the response.

I will coming to Ocala National Forest for the first time. I have read places like Rodman, Wildcat, are all great places for Bass. I do not have a boat and can only fish from the bank as I am flying to Florida. Don't mind hiking to spots as well. Any help would be much appreciated. Coming in late March. Thanks
