  1. Guys I’ve been looking hard for the past few weeks trying to find an upgrade to my E6X WUR 901-2S. I mainly twitch 3/8 jigs and spoons for coho and steelhead. The E6X has handled some big steelhead surprising well but now I’m ready to upgrade. My issue is I need a 2 peace due to packing it around from spot to spot bush wacking. What are your thoughts on the IMX 9000 2S Hot Shot, is it enough of a upgrade to make a noticeable difference. Or can you think of a better high end 2 peace ?
  2. Looking for a new high end jig twitching rod. I’m still a newb to twitching rod options but love twitching jigs for coho and now steelhead. I’m looking for a 2 peace as I bush wack ALOT. I was thinking GLoomis GLX or NRX series but completely lost on which exact rod due to being so many. Any help would be great. The local fishing store had suggested IMX 9000-2S HSR what’s your thought ?
  3. Thanks for the reply, but I’m looking for a Gloomis IMX, GLX or NRX as the blanks are far superior.
  4. Ok so I currently own a GLoomis E6X and I’m looking to upgrade to a high end or next level up Loomis and pairing it with a nice spinning reel. I mainly want a use this rod for twitching jigs for Coho usually 3/8 size or less. The rd needs to be a 2 peace because I tend to bush wack a lot. My local fishing store suggested A IMX 9000 - 2S HSR. The store guy heard that this particular rod is the same blank used in the IMX Twitch which is unfortunately a 1 peace (no way to confirm this). The E6X has been an awesome rod very light and even fun for even the smallest fish but could handle big salmon 6-14lb steelhead. Im a newb when trying to pick out the right rod any help would be appreciated.
