  1. Hi all, After a bit of head-scratching, I’ve decided to get a Conquest spinning rod and had a quick question (couldn’t find the answer via search sorry). Based on the specs from GLoomis, the 7’ 6” CNQ 902S SJR looks like exactly what I am after (the extra length and ‘2’ power with SJR taper) - but does anyone know if this rod is ‘tip heavy’ when compared to the slightly shorter, 7’ CNQ 842S SJR? I would be strapping a Certate LT 3000D-C to the rod, which weighs 8.1 oz. I noticed on the Loomis website the 902S has a longer-butt handle than the 842S which might eliminate any tip-heavy characteristic for the 902S but was really hoping someone had had the chance to feel both the rods in person once they had a reel attached. I am in Australia so there’s no chance to go try one locally as they aren’t sold here and I’d be buying a US or Jap import, which means its best to get it right first time! ? Cheers
