Where to buy reel parts?
Thank you! I'll have to make a list for each reel, but I know just about every one will need AR clutches because the current ones are extremely rusty. Also, just about every reel will need a bearing or 3 due to rust too. When they got move from my place while I was in the hospital they were put in a corner of a garage behind some big saltwater mixing tanks used to top off reef tanks and water changes. So I'm sure at some point saltwater was splashed on them over the past couple years while I was in the hospital. The deal with the idler gears is I had several reels disassembled on a table doing a very thorough cleaning after a week long kayak river fishing trip. I went to bed after I got all the reels stripped down, and was rushed into surgery a couple hours later, plus admitted into the oncology ICU floor, which I stayed for about 1 1/2 years. So I never got to finish the reels. Because of the cancer and how long it was to take I had to sell my place. So my family and friends had to move everything either into storage or to my mom's house. They just put all the reels and parts in a box, and from being moved around the exposed idler gears were beaten to death. A couple missing teeth and a couple the teeth are bent and smashed together. I'll get a list together of what each reel will need, and will touch base with you to see what you have and what I'll need to go factory direct. Thank you again

Where to buy reel parts?
Thank you. The ones I'm primarily looking to get going again are Lew's. 5 TP'S, 3 BB1 pros, 2 Super Duties. I also have a Daiwa that I can't remember the model of right now. And a few Bass Pro pro qualifiers. I'll have to put a list together of what I'll need for each reel to know for certain, but from I remember when I started going through them a couple days...just about all of them will need clutches as they're pretty rusty. Just about every reel will need a bearing or 3 for the same reason, rust. I also don't recall which ones are going to need idler gears either. So I'll have to go through everything tomorrow and detail what all each model needs

Where to buy reel parts?
Thank you! I'm super excited about it, but to a point where I end up overdoing it which causes me to feel like crap for a day or two. Can't wait for all to start getting better. I'm just not a patient person and ready to be back to normal so I push myself to do too much at times.

Where to buy reel parts?
Howdy fishin misfits! I guess this is my first post. Could have sworn I used to be on here, but oh well. Background info. I've been dealing with cancer and other health issues related to the cancer for the past few years. When it all started, it happened seriously overnight, I didn't get a chance to go through my gear to get it cleaned and stored properly. I actually had a couple reels apart for cleaning when I was admitted to the hospital. So my family just took everything and put in a plastic tub while moving all my stuff to storage. Now that I'm starting to feel a little better I've started going through my reels and finding that most of them will need a bearing or 5 replaced, along with a couple that'll need some other parts as well. I recently found out that the gentleman I used to get parts from passed away while I was in the hospital, so I need to find a new place buy parts and bearings. I also like to bring good old reels back from the dead that were found at garage sales. So I'm looking to find a place to ultimately be my goto spot for parts of all kinds in the future. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated! Parts I'm mainly looking for right now: < Idler gears < Drag washers and springs < EWC1010 clutch *I can only find this from China at a decent price, and don't want to wait a month for shipping. Otherwise, not looking to pay ~$20 for the others I've found. < 3x10x4, 4x10x4, 5x11x4 bearings. *Not looking for high $ hybrid ceramic stuff. Just decent stainless steel bearings at a decent price that'll perform like factory stock or slightly better. I never had a complaint with the stock ones once they were cleaned and lube properly. *I called Lew's, Daiwa, and Bass Pro but at their prices, for stock bearings and clutch, it was going to cost 1/2 - 3/4 of what I paid for the reels new. Not doing that. As I stated, I'm recovering from cancer so I can't afford to spend BOCA money for a bunch of bearings and parts to get these things going again. If it comes to that, then I'll just try to piece together 1 reel to fish with until I can afford to buy new reels, or just not fish this year. Thank you for any help, and your time since this ended up being long winded.
