    Yeah, thats probably the problem. When I skin hook the senko, do I make the hook go all the way through and out the other the side, or skin hook it on the first side?

    I am new to fishing and picked up some 5" watermelon/black flake senkos and some 2/0 EWG hooks. When I texas rig it and a fish bites it the hook doesn't leave the senko and go into the fishes mouth on the hookset. Is there anything that I am doing wrong?
