I broke my right hand in a baseball game. is there any way I can still fish with it?

What is the importance of keeping the rod high? Or the reason why I should say.

I live by a reservoir, and I really want to get out on the water, but there isn't much bank access. I have a very limited budget of $150. What should I get?

It is! Yesterday I went out for 3 hours, caught 2 dinks that were probably 3 oz each in the first 15 min spent the rest of the time waiting for the bass to bite, and backlashed on the last cast so bad that it took me 2.5 hours to get out... I didn't have any more braid and I cant get any more for a while?

That makes sense exept he catches a sardine on it and the rod is probably a mega super ultra light.

I recently got my first baitcaster (Abu Garcia Silver Max on a 7' MH) and a whole bunch of soft plastics. a few of them weigh barely anything, like the 6" lizards. The only bullet weights were tungsten weights, which were too much for my budget. Can I use a split shot instead of a bullet weight? Woud there be any way that I can turn a split shot into a bullet weight? Thanks!

I have $120 to spend on fishing stuff in general and I don't have much terminal tackle, lures, or anything in general, so i want to leave a decent amount back for that. What are some good budget bait casting combos I can get, preferably in left handed retrieve? Thanks!

I went out for the first time in a month yesterday afternoon and caught 14 dinks, mostly on tubes. I went again this morning and caught 9 dinks, again mostly on tubes. I knocked frogs and spinnerbaits off of my list of lures I haven't caught bass on. When I was walking home from the pond I realized that there was one thing in common between both days (apart from the tubes.) I thought to my self "why would this only work near me? Is there any reason it can't work in florida, california, canada, or anywhere else?" The answer to those questions was no. The thing in common with both of those days was that I put the lures in the water. When the lures were out of the water I got 0 bites. If you cast the lures onto the land, the bass don't eat it but sometimes you catch a tree. I hope this can help you guys! Rui

I found a pool float, fully inflated floating across the pond. It was the kind that is shaped like a doughnut if that matters. I dont have a way to get on the water in the pond so this would be my only option. Would it be stable enough for casting and setting the hook? Thanks!

I didn't make a way to inject the Pit Boss yet because I don't have an injector yet. I put that on the Senko so i could just pour it directly in without having to worry about appendages.

Would I be able to get both sides of the pit boss if I poured the plastisol in the first mold and put the top on?

I got some PoP at the store and made a mold that has a 5" GYB Senko and a Berkley Pit Boss. I took a 5/8" drill bit and made a sprue (I think it is called a sprue but correct me if i'm wrong) to put the injector in when I get one. I also made an open pour version of the Pit Boss. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~QUESTIONS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1) Is it really called a sprue? 2) Is there anything else that I should to to my molds now and/or in the future 3) Can I just pour the melted plastic into the sprue instead of buying an injector? 4) Will I be able to put the melted plastic into the first mold and put the top on? 5) How much plastisol will it take to make one senko? 6) How much plastisol will it take to make one pit boss? 7) Where should I buy some plastisol? ? What are a few good colors of dye to buy? 9) What are some good colors/sizes of glitter to buy? 10) approximately how much would it cost to make a bag of 10 senkos or a bag of 10 Pit Bosses? Thanks!

I have a limited amount of silicone and I want to make an open pour mold. I have two soft plastics that I want to make but I don't know if I have enough silicone to make them. I have a 5" GY senko and a 4" Berkley Pit Boss. Which of the two baits is smaller and will use the least amount of silicone? Thanks!

Yesterday I went fishing and I found a 5'6" medium action spinning rod with a reel foot broken inside the seat. I cleaned it up and put my 5.2:1 spinning reel on it. What should I primarily throw on it? Thanks!
