  1. I am trying to decide between a Tatula 100 vs. 150 for a MH or H rod. I own several other Tatulas (Type R, SV, and older 100 model that is the size of the 150). I am looking to spool the reel up with 50 lb. braid and use a variety of styles (pitching jigs, texas rigs, and frogging). The 150's larger spool size seems better suited for the larger braid but I am intrigued by the smaller profile of the 100. Does anyone have experience with both and can offer some advice? I am leaning towards the 100 but do not know if it would handle 50 lb braid.
  2. I have always been a St. Croix guy for mid to upper-end rods, but based on all the positive reviews, I have been wanting to try a Shimano Expride. All the models I have been eyeing are on back order for a long time (7'2" MH and 6'10 M), so I was wondering if anyone has experience with the 6'8" MH casting rod that is more readily available? If so, pros/cons, and what applications have you found it useful for? I am looking for something to pair up with a Tatula SV that could be used as an all around rod or maybe with the shorter length, a kayak rod for lighter jigs, spinnerbaits, and paddletail swimbaits. Let me know if it is worth the purchase, or is it better to wait it out on a more popular backorder model, thanks!
  3. 2020 Daiwa Tatula SV vs. Daiwa Elite Has anybody had a chance to compare these two? Is the Elite worth paying a few extra dollars for? I've heard the new 2020 SV has been getting great reviews. Is there a major difference or advantage to either? I'm looking for the best overall reel doing multiple applications.
