Hey guys! Fishing is starting to pick up it seems here in connecticut. I am just south of hartford, in Cromwell and mostly fish Silver Lake in New Britain. Bass are moving to the lilles and the shallows, hitting mostly flukes and top water. Mostly 3 lbs in size although a 5 lb bass has been reported. I am looking for other places in the state. I would like to fish candlewood but only have a kayak and am nervous to hit candlewood with all the summer traffic. Anyone have suggestions and/or fishing reports for connecticut? Thanks!
