  4. LMBass, strictly C&R, even though my mom wants them. I tried one about 9 years ago from the Florida canals, did not like it. Short story, about 6 years ago in a friends house, grilling in Miami, caught a nice Peacock Bass (my first one), mmm I will give it to mom to get her off my back. When I showed it the group, we were astonished that it had like a "tumor" on its head. it felt soft. we thought the fish was sick and released it alive. Thanks to ignorance that beautiful Peacock Bass lived another day. But I do love fish, specially fried. I tried Crappie about 5 years ago, loved it, now looking for Crappie spots in my area (Florida 33414).

  18. Try www.craigslist.com in your area. In WPB, Florida I know someone that has (2) Pro 120 Fishing Boat, for sale http://www.klindustries.com/fishing.vml RR
  19. Dave, Its a 10.4 or a 10.2, Ive seen the 10.2, even thought of getting one. Ive looked into Jon boats, found them expensive in my area (think it was the 12' - $ 899.00) Ive fished with a friend a 9.4, and yes its a bit crowded, but we were OK after 5 hrs of fishing (limited casue it was a rental). I decided in getting a KL industries 12' STD jon boat (polyurethane-plastic). Just got it registered and shall put it to test this weekend in a 157 acre lake, with a 40Lb MK trolling. RR
  20. Phil, Thats exactly it. Thanks a million.
  21. it'll go to the test in a week.
  22. Hi, I am looking for (I've seen them in 2 boats) what seems to be rubber rod holders that have a velcro strap to hold the rods (2-3). Its like a rubber block maybe 2x3inches, and I beleive it is velcroed or glued to the boat wall. then it has a velcro belt to hold the rods in place. I remember the velcro belt has the info for the product. Ive been looking in most large fishing equipment stores, but have not been able to locate them. I appreciate some info or a link to a webpage. thanks in advance RR
  23. To all that sent in some input, thanks. Ive gotten the boat and decided for a K.L. Industries 12' Polyethylene Jon Boat. Shall be good enough for the local canals, small lakes and ponds. Those that are from the WPB area, cya in the water. and yes, weight cap is 510 lbs, so we are fine.
  24. Then again, you and your 2 buddies can go separate ways fishing.
