It’s a Ming yang mc600, just a cheap catfish reel that I haven’t been able to use in years because of this problem. The locktite method sounds like it might be a winner! Thank for the advice.

Hey everyone I’ve been having an issue with this round baitcast reel for years, it seems that the anti reverse bearing works completely, except for that it spins backwards in the outside reel housing when enough pressure is applied. I’m wondering if anyone has some sort of solution for this. I’ve looked all over the internet and can’t find an answer, everything talks about too much oil or grease making the bearing fail but that isn’t what’s happening here. The entire bearing itself is rotating backwards. I’m not sure is I’m describing this clearly enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
