Hey all! Got me a Spartacus Plus. Ordered me Kastking Royle Select rod, medium fast. How are they? Only casting rods I have are medium/heavy fast.

Oh Lord yeah!!! Adam's awesome!!!! Ricky is too!!! The Stanley Brothers.......don't get me going there....LOL! I love the Stanley's! My pastor....... the church he was assistant pastor at one time......he looked back and low and behold......there was Ralph Stanley and Bill Monroe!!! Didn't come to play or sing......just for church.....pretty cool!!!

Is this knot a clinch knot? What would y’all call it?

Is there such a thing? I've heard of 'em. Love to have one I could cast anyway I want with anything I want. If so.....who makes 'em?

That rod seem alright for that'n? That's a KVD finesse spinner bait. 1/2 ounce.

What do you all think? Does your rod supposed to feel like a whip with one? I’m using a Bill Dance spinning combo. 40 size. That pic has 10lb test

Anybody on here musicians? I tend to mess with the mandolin and guitar sometimes. Lately I've been learning some mandolin. What do ya'll think of this?

I’m gradually getting the hang of them. Really like them. Can you use them for everything? Finesse, plastic, etc.? I’ve got a smaller spinner, but I’m just getting into this baitcaster so much!!!!

Tape it to the spool? You mean, wrap the spool with tape, then put line on? If so, no.

How can I fix it and prevent it?

Why does my line do this? I have 10lb braid on both. The spinner casts fine, the baitcaster , it’ll cast maybe 5 or 6 feet and stop.
