  2. Hello -Newbie here -looking for a smallmouth bass rod for kayak fishing rivers. I ordered a 150.00 tool kit with manual wrapper and drying motor/stand and a bunch of other tools from Mudhole -now i'm trying to decide what to build. I recently lost my St. Croix triump 7' medium power fast action rod. I fish spinning rods with 2500 size reels and 10 lb braid with a 6 lb florocarbon leader and throw 4- 5''senko worms, 3/16 oz 3'' tubes , and 3'' keitec minnows. Looking for recommendations on a good spinning rod set up for my first build. So much info out there to sort through! Maybe someone has a favorite set up they can recommend to help me get started. Thanks , Jack
  3. Hello Fallser, Yes you are correct ..I'm in Southeast PA, so used to saying I'm from Northeast (USA)!!
  4. New member- long time kayak fisherman. I have several other hobbies where I have honed my craft skills. I”m a auto technician by trade and I build acoustic guitars as a hobby. I’m a longtime RC airplane pilot and builder (composite turbine jets and DLG sailplanes), motorcycle enthusiast, and a former winged sprint car racer from back in the 1980-90s. I love building things with my hands, painting and airbrushing I’m a perfectionist - I tend to jump into a new hobby with both feet - I built thirteen guitars in a three year span and built many of my guitar making tools and molds. Looking forwards to building some rods for myself , family and friends.
