Like this but all white and black dots

It has a billed part on the front yes Also looks like a bee with white and black dots with a transparent pink bottom

So I have a crank bait(has 2 treble hooks front and back and has 2-3 small balls in it) and I can't figure out how to use it. Do reel it in slowly, reel it in like fast or tease the fish by tugging it twice or three times and this thing goes to the bottom of reel too fast

So far yes the fishing is tough with fake lures and top lures but bluegill and bluegill cutbait or even worms seem to work, I caught a 14 inch using a bluegill cutbait and the 17 inch on a small(5-6 inch bluegill) alive. I go for catfish as well. Unfortunately I cannot upload the pictures because they are 2mb in size. This is in lake Frederick VA
