    thanks, everyone. I think I will go with the Exceler, it looks like a much better reel, and for only $10 more than the silver max.

    Cabela's has a Procaster Bi, and I wondered if anyone knew the difference between this reel and the procaster 6+1? They seem to have the same specs. thanks! Mark
