I was one of the fortunate few to have been able to visit and participate in the event. and let me say i have NEVER in my life met a greater bunch of profesionals anywere!!! I'm not just talking fishing but all around nice guys i have the priviledge to fish with Luke Clausen. Being a young pro i was expecting something way different than what really took place from the get go Luke was the comsuate pro offering anyhting in his boat for us to use and actually showing us some tips and insight into his world. Being form Wa state i figured that we sould be fishing deep open water but was suprised when he took us to the back of caney and got us in the shallow weeds to start. Later on to bird island were i lost a BIG fish! Man this guy can fish!! After getting off the water and talking with a few others about one of the things Luke was saying none other than KVD spoke up behind us saying that he agreed with Luke in that i needed to bend my EWG hooks out more when using my creature tube craws and this was the main reason i lost my fisrt fish wich could have gone double digit!!!! even Mr Ike was kool , Great guy in person no matter what you have heard... Shaw Grigsby came over and talked to us for a while as well. all in all this was a once in a life time for me! this was just my experience and it was a great one! lets hear from the other guys that i know went out there yesterday!?!?!
