4 hours today. Not a bite. At least not that I felt. A couple times my bobber twitched during the first half hour. Then I went all around the lake, half dozen spots, and nothing. Tried bobber and Gulp minnows for blue gill. Also a square bill for bass—too many weeds. Tried senko wacky-rigged. Tried small crank bait. Nothing.Massachusets Fish and Game website says they stocked this lake with trout. Saw guy nearby catch something— maybe trout. He was fishing further out than me. Did I start too late? (8:15 am.) Wrong baits?
