New to the area and excited to fish! Any recommendations on good spots for largemouth and smallmouth? I have never been on smallmouth but REALLY want to. I prefer power fishing or any technique that keeps me active (not finesse). I can't even work a texas rig slow for more than one cast. If I could have it my way I would only fish in the thickest slop with a hollow body frog or punching. I haven't gotten any fishing done yet as I just got here ~4 days ago but from some of the stuff I have seen it looks like the water is a lot clearer than what I am used to back in KCMO. I am in the Bella Vista area. So I have been made aware of the POA reqs for lake access. I am openn to rivers, lakes or ponds and primarily kayak fish. Any information is greatly appreciated!
