hey im a fellow south floridian...as far as im aware these fish have spawned already majority of the lakes/ponds i fish around here i see beds..but then theres the occasional lake that i notice very few beds like youve said....but im pretty sure they should be down spawning..but maybe this lake your fishing is a really late spawn lake/pond? where abouts are you in south florida?

i agree with 1jay..slow fishing the finess for them sluggish fish the finess works wonders on any day IMO goodluck

started out at 930 a few fast fish to start then it got slow and then got a few more the last cast came and wouldnt you now i pulled up a 5lber

to add to my year so far just got back from fishing today & got 5 fish...my last one was 5 1/4

having what is probably the best fishing year of my life so far...fish on every outting, last few outting have produced 7+ fish and my largest catch to date ( 8lbs) soo this years has started out great =] hope everyone elses year is going great aswell

okay soo the last three days ive gone to this little lake (lake charelston??) anywas in these three days ive been slamming fish left and right...on the first day i pulled in 8 largies...5 of which were 3+lbs, the next day i cought 7 not so many big one that day but nontheless 7 bass, and then that third day i went back one more time and another 7 fish stringer with a few 2+lbers the last few days have been fantastic, the weathers been in the 80's with a light wind and the waters pretty warm.
