Thank you very much for all your replies...shortly before I posted here, I've got the reply from the Daiwa Service Department, in less that 12 hours after I sent them the same question...so the customer and service department is working good and it's here to help us as well if needed: Hello. On spinning reels the handle is interchangeable, but on baitcaster reels it is always solid one sided only. So if you want to reel in on the left side then you have to buy a left handed baitcasting reel. Br Matti Matti Hartikainen Service Department

  3. Hi all, I've purchased a Daiwa Alphas CT SV Right Handle Baitcaster (2019 model) from Japan and as spinning guy for the last 30 years, I'm always using my left hand to reel in. The seller didn't have the left hand model, but some fishermen said that the handle on these Daiwa's are interchangeable and can be moved on the other side. Unfortunately I cannot find any information on the web on how to do it myself. Is this true? Can I change the handle from right to left? Thank you very much for your replies.
