Thank you all, I forgot to specify that this is for a spinning reel, and is my first time switching to braid, I already used a double uni knot to connect my braid to a monofilament backing so I think I’ll use the same knot for my leader, thanks!

If I’m using braid as a main line and want a monofilament leader can I use a barrel swivel to attach the two? Or will this mess things up. If not, can I use a snap swivel at the then and snap my lures on or will this affect the action?
