I have a small 10ft bass boat that weighs in at 145lbs. I purchased a Minn Kota 45lb thrust trolling motor to get me around on the local rivers and lakes but I’m looking for an upgrade. I’m leaning towards something fuel powered instead of battery, around the 3.5hp range. Just looking to go a bit faster on the water to get to my fishing spots. Any recommendations that won’t break the bank? In the 300 or lower range if possible. The boat is a Bass Raider by Pelican for anyone that is curious.
