  1. I recently picked up a 2004 HP200 and want to replace a few things. The driver console is priority. Do any of you know where to find old boat parts or any custom console builders that can retrofit? I’m going to wrap the boat and completely redo wiring and add new electronics so I’m not completely hung up on going back with the same console. I doubt anyone will even know what boat it is once it’s wrapped.
  2. Thanks man I know quite a few guys that have glass bass boats and they love them. I’ve only ever had an aluminum bass boat and never worried about bumping anything lol...as long as I was on the trolling motor. I figure if I’m going to spend the money or a nice bass boat it was either going to be a glass boat or Xpress(which is just as expensive). I’m leaning toward fiberglass. The other lake of fish often is Lake Murray in Columbia, SC, which has a lot of open water island points throughout and I was always getting blown around in my aluminum boat.
  3. I know this has more than likely been discussed but I didn’t find anything through the search function. I would rather have a glass boat but my only concern is bumping stumps. One of the main lakes I fish is Santee Cooper and it’s a shallow lake. Can a glass boat stand up to bumping stumps throughout the day while on the trolling motor without damaging the fiberglass?
  4. Thanks for the input. I went by a Ranger dealer today and he basically tried to talk me out of the Ranger models(they just started carrying Venus and he’s pushing those). He said Ranger just went with new builders and they won’t be the same anymore in build quality. I’m going to check out the Xpress this weekend. ^^^Vexus not Venus. Lol
  5. If you could get the Xpress X19 pro or the Ranger 188p/198p, which one would you choose and why? I’m trying to decide which boat to go with. I’m going this week to check both boats out.
