Seeing that megabass has updated their Levante line also I see that St Croix has put out their new line Victory. They are priced the same. Any thoughts on quality comparison between the two.

Thanks for the input. Currently I fish from a pontoon boat so it’s easier to store reels and line than xtra poles. Maybe I can upgrade to a bass boat in the future. Thinking a combination of 3-4 rods with different reels set up to accommodate different techniques. Clearly I have to get better at predicting what they will bite because I frequently have 3-4 rods loaded with different techniques and I don’t get a bite on any of them. Eventually i figure out something they like. Now my son is a great net man. He will net the fish and hold the rod while I get the fish off and get a picture. He does think that a lure that catches a fish should return to the water before the fish does

So I’ve been trying a new concept for me. Reading articles and watching videos it seems every one has there favorite line for a different technique. Lots of these though seemed to be fished on the same rod. So I have spoiled up the same tatula sv reel with 8,12&20 lb test line. Then if I switch from a chatterbait to a light swimbait on a jig head to a 1/2 oz jig I can use the same rod. Also if I have a bad professional overruns then at least I can still use that rod and the same technique though not with my preference of line size. Thoughts
