Yes that’s what I meant. I don’t know why people have to be a** about stuff big whoops it’s a typo. But yes iv tried it and it shakes alittle more vigorously than the kistler argon I had. The dobyns I have now is medium heavy moderate fast bait rating 1/4 OUNCE TO 1 ounce. Now I mostly use top water and shallow crank baits which is what it’s made for but I also use a few spinner baits and chatter baits as well. Was just curious if they would work on it as some says it will (affect the presentation of the bait) or should I return it and get like a 7’ 3 heavy fast?

I’m looking at rods and debating on which to buy. I’m not really good when it comes to this but does it really matter on the lure weight on the rod? I got a dobyns boom boom and the lure weight is like 3/4 to 1 ounce I believe but it’s for top water jerk baits and cranks. I use all those besides a coulple chatter baits and spinners. Can I use the other 2 on this rod or should I return to get a medium heavy fast but if I do that the lure weight is like 1/4 to 3/4 ounce.

I bought this rod that is a medium heavy cranking rod and usually I just use a normal medium heavy. I don’t really pay much attention to that. I use wake baits shallow crank baits and a few soft swim and spinner and chatter baits. The rod is a medium heavy cranking with moderate action. Will this rod work for the lures I use?
