Hello everyone in Missouri. This is my first post on this forum so I haven't even posted a profile as of yet. First of all I am living in Clinton, Mo, the county seat of Henry County. The Grand River branch of Truman lake ends here at Clinton and it has been several years since I fished Truman. I have been told by people on other forums that I don't know Jack about Bass fishing, and that is true to one extent. I don't own a boat, I fish in ponds not the lake. I really show how little I know about Bass fishing when I go fishing every month of the year and catch Bass. So far in 2007 I have caught 4 fish that measured over 21" in size, one coming two days after the ice disappeared from the ponds. Two weeks ago I broke the 25" mark to register my second largest Bass of my life, all coming from Henry County ponds. I am retired, so I figured it was time to try something new, so this year I will be fishing the henry county ponds from a float tube. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? If you would like, I will post an address where you can view my 2007 fish as of this week. What is the only sign of intelligent life in Clinton? A sign at the north end of town that says "Warrenburg 28 miles" Oh yes I do have a sense of humor
