@Rpratt Hey there. My dad had called them back in 2011 and I called them back in December of this last year. The guy told me that multiple people call a year and have since they discontinued it. He couldn’t give me anymore information on them or even if they were ever going to bring them back. I’ve searched up and down. It’s a really unique design that for whatever reason didn’t survive and hasn’t gained the respect and fandom it deserves. It is very deadly for trout and no doubt for bass as well. The hooks are my only complain not because they are eagle claw but because they are to big. So I’ve swapped most of mine out with size 6 mustad trebles.

@Bluebasser86 if you do find them I wouldn’t mind snagging them from you. Definitely looking for the silver blue or silver black in particular. Have you ever tried them? We picked up over 300 of them back when they were $1.97 and sometimes even less at the time we didn’t even tune them and would just toss them. Lost well over half in the river and never ran any with a snap nor fluorocarbon. Which is my plan this year with the few I picked up. We also would soak them in a bait mate max fish attractant also sold at Walmart. I have a feeling doin the same and running 12 lb fluorocarbon and a snap will give us a better advantage over are early years of inexperience.

They are about 2 3/4 to 3” in overall length they are much bigger than the Yo Zuri snap beans and I just picked some up to fish smaller creeks so I can’t say how good they are yet. I do know however Creme makes something similar in size and it is very popular in creeks here. Hoping for the same on the snap beans. I haven’t fished with the matte fire tiger, holographic red craw or the watermelon color yet. However the silver blue back and silver black back have been slayers here.

Hello was wondering if someone knows where I can find a particular crankbait. The crankbait is known as a Renegade Dancing crank. To my knowledge they were carried by Walmart and imported from China by a company here in the US known as Laker FISHING Tackle. They were sold for $1.97 and came in a variety of colors my favorites being the silver black and silver blue back. There are a few other colors a watermelon, red craw and a matte fire tiger. Here in Idaho these lures work phenomenally when it comes to trout fishing. I find them on eBay on occasion. I’m always on the search. Cotton cordell did a similar design in which I believe they also have discontinued. I picked a few up I’m just not sure how they run yet or if their colors will attract. I’m sure they will be ok. I am wondering if anyone has some or even knows if someone is making something similar. I’ve picked up a few like Duckett, Megabass and 6th sense curve 55 but I just don’t feel they are the same and definitely aren’t for price wise either. Now I get renegade is discontinued but I still think the $8-10 plus shipping or even less isn’t bad compared to $12-30 anyway if you know anything I’m all ears thank you
