I just bought two of the Metanium Gear sets from the TackleTrap for the 7.3:1 Met MGL. It has fixed the loud gears/buzz, however now when I go to engage my reel and the thumbar raises into position, my reel skips a beat before catching and makes a second internal clicking sound inside the reel after the thumbar has raised. Very strange. I have taken it apart twice now yo try and diagnose the thumbar clutch system which seems to be working okay. My only observation that I thought may possibly be causing this is the drive gear and pinion gear I recieved from the Tackle Trap connect well unless the shaft that the drive gear revolves on is pushed away from the pinion. Any thoughts as to why this may be occuring? It's just very frustrating considering they're both essentially brand new, I now fixed the buzz, but it seems the new gear set has caused a new problem... any feedback would be awesome, thank!
