I have fished Goodall kendall lake , lake wateree and just about every puddle of water that surrounds them in Kershaw County. There are/were several gators in goodale for a long time. I have personally seen them, never in a dangerous fashion, but they exist. I used to be able to go to goodale and catch bream untili didn't want to fish anymore, nowadays you may go hours without a bite from the bank. Kendall lake is very steep and limited from the bank. I would suggest the stream that flows through the park downhill from the kendall dam, caught some nice ones build up there. If you want to bass fish in Kershaw County, use your GPS and follow Lakeshore drive in camden away from kendall dam.. there is a huge beautiful lake hidden by a great spillway
