Any idea as to the why the color variation/patterns from the rest of the bass I see on the web? The creek is pretty muddy here year round so possible this is the reason. Do muddy creek largemouths look that much different from lake large mouths(never caught a lake largemouth)?

I am new to bass fishing(1week new) caught this in my local creek in about 5 feet of water in Morgan hill(south of San Jose)today. I was retrieving a curly tail worm without a hit, but as soon as I switched to this(chattetbait?) I caught this which was just over 1foot (measured against my foot). A fish identification app said it was a largemouth, but I dont think it is one with my limited experience. What is this? Thanks everyone.
