Hello!
Just wondering what the best way to mount my Lowrance transducer to my trolling motor is. I have the clamp tool thing that is meant for holding the transducer, but I’m stuck on the best way to route the cable back to the locator.
Since I’m using a Lowrance branded locator and not a Hummingbird, I can just use the cord that comes with the motor.
I’ve seen some videos of people using a coil air hose type thing, and just putting that on the bow next to the motor. I’ve seen some people actually take the head of the motor off and then routing the cord through the shaft of the motor as well, but that’d be hard to also then plug the cord back into the motor. Some people just electrical tape the cord on the outside of the shaft, but then it’d get stuck when deploying and it still wouldn’t make it back to the locator.
Not sure. Thanks for any help and advice.
