another thing to think about is how the weight and line are also going to effect the drop rate of the senko, you can use a 4" and put a 3/0 thin gauge hook on it and then use a 5" senko with a 4/0 heavy wire hoke and may get the same rate of fall. I think the senko shines when the rate of fall has that slow magic wiggling effect. so play around with both but i like the good old 5" the effect on it is better then the other imo.

I don’t have a conquest but have an Med/Heavy Xpride and also have a Baby plugging P5 destroyer have not had a ton of time with my Megabass but can tell that the P5 is quit a bit more sensitive then my Xpride and e6x rods. The Megabass is high quality but warranty is not as good as Gloomis.
