Which one did you have and what didn’t you like about it. Do you have another option you prefer in the $200 price range??

So you feel the redesigned E6X is a solid rod for the $200 price point?? i do have to say I do prefer the solid cork handle, as that is what my SBR 813c has and I love the feel of it

Thank you very much to everyone their insight on these 2 rods. I had a good feeling that I was leaning towards the Victory, but I have an older G.Loomis SBR 813c (the burgundy colored one) that I absolutely love. I’m wanting another rod in the $200 range and I had been looking at the e6x for quite some time, but then when the Victory released the reviews on it were just fantastic and e6x reviews were underwhelming. I am going to buy a new rod in the Victory/E6X price range and I’m curious if anyone has used both of these and can compare them. I was completely set on getting one of the e6x MBR, but have read great things on the St Croix Victory. Any information would be greatly appreciated
