    Aren't the hangers just screwed in? I think that's the screw head, the loop. I believe you can unscrew them by grabbing the hook and turning.

    I use two 5/32" chainsaw files/round files. I took a few to a local auto body shop and had them tack (weld) the ends so they're held together parallel. Cheap and highly effective. Best sharpener I've ever used. Quick and fast and really sharp.
