I've been a DC diehard for a few years, got a fleet of Curado DCs that are still in rotation. I was debating this a few months ago and got the Met MGL and had a hard time putting it down. I have it on a Expride 7'2" MH and it pairs well. Just got the JDM Met MGL last week and paired it with my Expride 6'10" M and now don't know which one I prefer more. The JDM version has 30lb Maxcuatro and bombs ⅛ and ¼ baits perfectly. The US version has 30lb Suffix 131 on it and not real happy with the line, but it is smooth. Buzzbait and Frog rods I'll keep the DC on, or anything where I'm dealing crazy wind and baits with lots of air drag. Just feel I can get more distance with DC in those situations.
