I saw that 17oz max lure rating also, and then the handle length is only 13.6” long and it’s a two piece rod? I don't understand kind of rod is this…I highly doubt it’s anywhere close to 17oz’s. The 8’ Hvy model from the Expride “A” series was only 1/2-3oz lure rating and had a longer 14.5” handle. How the hell could you even comfortably cast an 8’ rod with a giant let’s say 5-17oz lure and only a 13.6” handle. I think they were trying to make the mother of all punching rods.
