Any value/interest in vintage BASS Master magazines? I have 101 issues
I have 101 issues of BASS Master Magazines from years 1972-1985. Most (if not all) are in really good shape, especially for their age. While this is a nice collection, I’d love to pass it on and let someone else find enjoyment. I would like to know if there’s there any value to these and if anyone would possibly be interested in them? Thanks for looking

Suggestions for kayak under $500? Stand-up capable?
Thanks to everyone that gave input and suggestions. I ended up going with a pair of Lifetime Tamarack pro's 10'3". I have only taken them out a couple times so still getting a feel for them. They seem fairly stable for what they are. I was able to stand up easily in light current and chop. Setting the hook while standing might be another story, I'm going to wait until the water is a little warmer before giving that a go. In the meantime I am going to purchase some 3" seat risers to elevate myself slightly. The seat does sit you up high enough to do everything you need to but a little higher couldn't hurt for roll casting a hook sets, but so far happy with them.

Suggestions for kayak under $500? Stand-up capable?
So you mentioned the Pelican Catch 100. I actually found a deal on one that’s not much over my price point. If this is a kayak that performs well I may consider going this route. But so far the reviews I have seen are pretty mixed. Some people say stability issues, some people love it. But mostly everyone says it’s kind of a tank to paddle. Anyone have some experience with this model? The other kayak I am really considering is a Lifetime Kenai angler 100. This kayak is a newer model from Lifetime so not many reviews but the few reviews are good. It’s not designed for standing, but it looks to have more of a stable pontoon style haul unlike the tamaracks v/flatish bottom. Any chance someone has experience with this model? Thanks

Suggestions for kayak under $500? Stand-up capable?
I'm looking to purchase a pair of fishing kayaks in the near future, preferable something stable enough to stand it. They don't have to be crazy stable, just stable enough. Is there anything in the $4-500 price point thats stand-up worthy? If not what are the best sit on top kayaks in this price range? This will be my first time owning kayaks. I probably won't know the difference on how good/bad they track in the water so that's not really a concern. Another thing to make this more difficult, the roof rack on my car has a total weight limit of 150lbs so each kayak can't exceed 75lbs. Thanks in advance

Looking for a good "all around" reel. Curado K? MGL?
Update: After fishing with the Curado MGL150 for a short while I quickly realized it did not palm in my hand well(a bit small and would sit too far forward in the reel seat) and I didn't find it to cast baits over 3/8oz very well as it seemed overloaded. Lighter stuff it did great however I needed something more versatile so I decided to return it. I ended up purchasing the Diawa Tatula SV Tw as a replacement and I dont have any regrets after putting some hours on it. Super easy to dial in swapping baits and throws light stuff as good as the heavier stuff. Though not quite as refined as the Shimano, the Diawa is still very well made. But I will take that tradeoff for Diawas spool and brakes any day. It works amazing

Ended up going with the Curado MGL151 7.4:1 along with some #14 sniper from Omnia?

Good to know. What do you consider heavier lures? Also what line are you using? Thanks

Looking for a good "all around" reel. Curado K? MGL?
Appreciate all the help from everyone. I ended up eliminating the K from my options and started to really onsider the Tatula SV TW, but I'm still leaning towards the Curado Mgl 150. I am going to hold both the MGL150 and the Tatula SV TW at Bass Pro next week and make a final decision.

I made a similar thread as I’m sort of in the same situation as far as needing a versatile reel and I’m leaning towards a Shimano Curado MGL 150. This will likely be my choice unless someone manages to persuade me on another reel within the next few days

Interesting. Do you know the pros/cons of this reel comparing to the Curado MGL? Thanks

Looking for a good "all around" reel. Curado K? MGL?
I purchased a new casting rod and I'm looking for a good reel to pair with it. The Rod is a Phoenix Custom M1 Nanotube 7'2" MH/F 8-17# Lure wt 1/4-3/4oz. I will likely be pitching jigs, texas rigs and throwing spinner baits here and there, and occasionally flipping into some cover so looking for something that could be somewhat versatile as this will be my only setup for the time being. The two reels that have caught my attention are the Curado MGL and the Curado K. I'm stuck between the two. I have heard the MGL is really good and has an updated version SVS braking that is better than the K and will even skip baits pretty well when setup properly. This has me leaning that direction, however I haven't seen much on how it performs with the slightly heavier line( i.e 14-17lb fluoro) As for the K, I have read its pretty much a jack of all trades and fishes lots of baits/lines well but I haven't seen all the hype like with the MGL's for casting accuracy, skipping, etc. Casting distance is not a priority of mine. What would people recommend for this rod/application? I'm also open to other reels in the $200-$250 price range. Thanks
