Cleve Patterson

I have a Shimano Calais CL 200-5 and it just stopped reeling. I took it apart, which was a chore in it's own, and realized that while all gears are in motion the slightest pressure on the spool stops it from spinning. Does any one out there have experience with this reel and can maybe help me resolve this problem. I bought this reel back around 2000 and it's still my favorite. It was very pricey back then and I'm not sure if Shimano still makes this type. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
