    well my name is Casey and i live in Abilene Tx i have lived here all my life. i travel with my job doing contract work for the railroads like BNSF and NS.. im only home about 1 week per month and i just bought my first boat.. so i fish when i can when i am home and when it isnt too windy to get the little boat out. its a pelican bass raider 10e from Academy i have a 50lb trolling motor and a garmin 93sv uhd fish finder.. im just getting back into fishing i used to fish when i was a kid .. now im going after bass trying to learn this hooby ive been out a few times and not had the luck but coming here i hope to change that and learn some things maybe learn the way of the worm lol... ive spent some money getting back into this hobby lol 3 new rod and reel combos 1 being a lews combo and. 2 of them being abu garcia rod and reel combos.. well thats about it hope to start up some fishing convos and learn things here
  2. thanks well i just thought it be best to get the seperate battery for the fish finder avoid any issues lol i may just try the feeder battery and see how it goes prob not going to be out more than 4 hours or so anyway
  3. so im new to this stuff just got my first boat the little pelican bass raider from academy.. i also grabbed the garmin 9sv echomap. ive got a big dc battery for my trolling motor.. im wondering about a a battery and maybe use one just to get me going.. i was looking at the game winner deer feeder battery at academy its a 12v 7ah battery for like 20$ they have a charger also anything else i have found i need to order its not goign to be in fast enough i leave sunday and wont be able to use my stuff untill 3 weeks from now when i get back from work i travel with my job gone 3 weeks out of the month.. was curious if this would work in a pinch just to test stuff out or maybe a motor cycle battery?
