I just bought a brand new 24 certate lt 3000 and right out of the box when I turn the handle I can hear a slight metal rubbing noise in the spool. When I take the spool off it doesn't do that. It is super quiet and smooth. I even put a tatula mq spool on it and it is quiet and smooth. I put the stock spool back on and I can hear it again. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this. I purchased the reel from japan, so I am hoping it is something simple so I dont have to try and send it back.

Has anyone tried the jdm version of the daiwa tatula lt spinning reel

I have a new out of the box daiwa tatula 100 and the line guide has quite a bit of wiggle. It spools fine. I just was wondering if this was normal.
