  1. Hello, I recently purchased a 97 Tidecraft Wildfire 120 that has seen some better day especially with regards to the gelcoat (see attached photos). It has multiple damage areas, most are just scuffs, but there are a couple places where the fiberglass is showing (not structural though). I am looking to get some guidance in gelcoat repair. One of the big questions I have is how do I match (or get close) to the factory metalflakes, and gel coat color? From what I understand some boats use a clear gelcoat and just use metal flakes but the gel coat on this boat appears to be colored and also a metalflake? Some people were recommending that I contact Tidecraft but their out of business. How do I go at matching? Also, what is everyone's opinion on using BONDO Fiberglass Resin Jelly to fill in damage like the attached pictures? Then gelcoat over?
