  1. I have a new pedal and also replaced the control board to allow the new pedal to work. I think I have a bad pedal or control board

  3. I have a minn kota power drive v1 that I’m trying to get one more year out of. I recently replaced the foot pedal and control board with a v2 control board and pedal as my old pedal had failed and is no longer available. Now my motor will run for a few mins then stop. I still have steering. If I pull it out of the water, wait a few mins then deploy it again it will work on momentary for a few button pushes then stops. I can run it on continuous if I immediately switch it on and it will run for hours until I switch it off. Then it won’t run again. I can here the relay clicking when I depress the propel button, but the propeller won’t spin. I have power going to the motor and can jump the ground lead from the motor to the battery ground lead, the motor will run. I have opened up the lower unit and there are no signs of water intrusion and my brushes look good along with the bearings. I cannot afford a new motor this year and it makes it tough to fish without it. I’m curious if I have a defective control board. Any minn kota gurus here?
