Keitechs are my bread and butter on tough bites, the one problem I have tho is they constantly are sliding down my hook after every other cast. Almost makes me want to switch lures after fixing it 10 times. I was thinking of superglueing them to the head of the jig but maybe someone has a suggestion for a better jig head that has a baitkeeper on it? The ones i currently use are just cheap ballhead jigs from my local tackleshop. I typically run 1/8oz to 1/4 oz, aswell as both the 3 inch and 3.5 inch baits

I want to buy an excense 3000 off of a JDM website for around $500Cad (as opposed to around $750 if i were to buy it locally). Only thing I am a little wary on how much I may be charged for dutys and import fees. Does any canadian here have experiences ordering tackle from Japan and could tell me how steep the import and duty fees are typically, to be honest I kind of got confused trying to find the answer on google. Appreciate the help all!

Thinking of grabbing an excense 3000, i see that the website asian fishing portal has it for $425Cad which is ridiculously cheap. Any experiences that you may have had ordering from them I would love to hear. Thank you and happy holidays

Yea both are in stock right now, and yea i mainly fish shallow reservoirs and rivers, never too deep, i plan to try and get a discount because ive heard that aswell

Would you recommend the 852s jwr or the 872s jwr for bank fishing smallmouth (using small 1/8oz jigs, grubs, tubes etc.) My main concern is I hear that the 852 has some trouble casting far distances which is a bigger deal when I’m not in a boat and I fish primarily from a bank. Advice is very much appreciated, fish on ??

Currently I am in the market for a higher end g.loomis rod for “finessy” smallmouth applications (Grubs, Tubes, small jigs etc) I am pretty positive I am going to be purchasing an 852s JWR, but I don’t know whether to spending the extra cash on the NRX would be worth it as opposed to the GLX. Is there a big difference in sensitivity between the lines that justify the price increase on the NRX? Thanks for your help guys! ??
