Fairly new to incorporating the T-Rig or Football Jig to my arsenal, what does a bite feel like on these? Am I just line watching?

Question on these and when to set the hook. I've been feeling tons of bites on these, really good strikes. My question is, when do you set the hook? On the initial strike? I've been swinging for the fences on trying to set the hook, but I always come up empty, then I read I should just slightly turn and reel.

I second this, been throwing strictly CB the last 2 weeks and noticed that I get more activity when it's a bit windy. Also, been using the Jackhammer with the "painted" blade and it's scraping off. Normal? Should I just sharpie this?

He does like the shorter rods so SD might be the way to go, might even consider the Perfect Pitch in the Orochi line. Seems like you have quite the collection of MegaBass arsenal!

Typically bring two, one spinning and one baitcast and a backpack with some baits. One I am actively fishing, the other I am just letting sit out there for anything. If I am pond hopping, I would like to keep it as minimal as possible, but this also depends on the amount of time I am out there.

Thank you for the response, how does this fair with the lighter side of things? 3/8oz, ever thrown a spinner on there? with my Levante DSR I can definitely notice the chatter on a 1/2oz but 3/8oz I need to pay a bit more attention, hoping that the P5 line is as sensitive as I've read.

Hello all! Looking at the P5 Destroyer lineup that Megabass offers and would like some input. Eying the Madbull, generally fishing reaction baits..Cranks, Chatter, Buzz and Spinner. I am currently using the Megabass Levante Diablo Spec R. Thus far, I am digging the DSR for the sensitivity, feel and aesthetic but just want that higher end version. What are your thoughts on the Madbull? I have scoured the internet for opinions, YouTube for reviews but haven't really found anything in-depth or maybe I just need reassurance haha. Appreciate your time, and hope you all get a new Personal Best this year.

The Steez and P5 MadBull is the exact setup I am looking at, maybe even the Super Destroyer. How are you liking that combo?
