  1. Kayak Trolling Motor Modification

    I have attached a Newport Vessel 55lb thrust to my Nucanoe Unlimited. Always fun to mod and I am needing some design help. I am trying to get a full range of motion from my trolling motor by attaching a lever actuated push/pull control cable. Has anyone made a mod like this before? I am not sure how are where to attach the control cable end. My gut feeling is near the motor shaft to get the most rotation from the cable move, but just not sure. Thanks
