  1. Did you have any issues with 50# braid? The rating online says 10-20lb line..I assume it was referring to fluorocarbon or mono
  2. Alright! Thank you for the feedback. I just purchased the 7'3'' Heavy Mod/Fast action paired with a Tatula 150. I hope this will serve me well with frogging and jigging heavy cover. Also bought a few frogs. Pretty excited
  3. I love these 3 rods, and I want something that is good in heavy cover as the reservoir I fish is heavy vegetation and fairly shallow water as well as doing a lot of junk fishing for Largemouth. I have never frog fished, but I think it may do well in this area. Most of it 1-4' deep in the area I fish. For some reason, I really like the aesthetic of the Evergreen combat stick as well as the Cashion Icon series. The Evergreen is about 50-60$ cheaper than the others listed. Thoughts? https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Evergreen_Brett_Hite_Combat_Stick_Casting_Rods/descpage-COMX.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/St_Croix_Victory_Casting_Rods/descpage-CTV.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Cashion_ICON_Series_Multi-Purpose_Rods/descpage-CFMPR.html
  4. So Tackle Warehouse is running there 4th of July sale, and I've had my eye on an Evergreen Combat Stick 7'3'' Heavy rod along with a budget baitcaster for a reservoir I like to fish. It has some very thick grass and shallow water. I'm thinking frogs, jigs, and punching setups would be ideal for this area. Does anyone have any feedback or experience with what I am looking at? Below are the links to the products I reference. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Evergreen_Brett_Hite_Combat_Stick_Casting_Rods/descpage-COMX.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Clearance_Reels/catpage-CLEARREELS.html
