Hey Memphis Pond Hoppers! New member here, fished all the time as a kid but have recently gotten heavily back into it. I have lots of free time at the moment after work so I hit up some of the usual sports more or less every day (day care pond, Johnson Park, Shelby Farms), and on the weekend you can find me fishing almost all day. I love fishing for bass and that's usually all I'm going for. I know this thread isn't quite as active anymore but I was hoping for some advice on maybe some out of the way spots. I don't mind a hike, or if anyone has some advice on how to get permission to fish some private areas that would be fantastic. Would love to find some spots that aren't quite as crowded. I always catch and release, and try my best to handle the fish with care. Always want to give someone else the chance to catch 'em! I actively pick up trash around areas I go to as well, it's a shame how much garbage gets left at some of the more active spots. Anyways, would greatly appreciate some tips or maybe even a nudge in the right direction for finding some honey holes. Attached is a pic of one of the fish I pulled out of the daycare pond last week, 4lbs is the biggest I've caught there. Good luck all!
